Louisiana interracial couple find another justice of the peace and get married….

Beth Humphrey and Terrance McKay, the interracial couple down in Louisiana who where denied a marriage license earlier this month, are now married..in the story we posted here…the couple were first refused a marriage license by Keith Bardwell, a justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish’s 8th Ward……an area 70% white and 30% black…….

The State’s Governor Bobby Jindal (Indian-American) and  US Senator Mary Landreiu have deplored Bardwell’s actions, with the Governor asking that he be removed from office……which fly in the face of the US Supreme Court ruling in Loving v. Virginia which outlawed racially based limitations on marriage……

Let’s see if the guy is still doing his act a while from now……..
