JWoww of the "Jersey Shore" and her Sexy Tops are out……

The buzz about MTV’s reality seriesThe Jersey Shore and its extensions-wearing, tanning salon-frequenting, hot tempered—and hugely compelling—stars has been growing at a rapid crescendo ever since its debut. Having established a loyal fan base (and evena celebrity following!), the castmates are now fully entrenched in the spotlight. Jenni Farley, better known as “JWoww” on the show, is capitalizing on her new-found fame, with a collection of skimpy made-to-order party tops so others can replicate her signature cleavage-baring look……

Merlin on the Survey USA.. AR-2, OH-1 and NY-1 House races…..

Ok….This is all Merilin’s House races….

Hi Dog!

Man, I’m so greatful Survey USA finally got of the hock this year, and did some House District Polls. I’m listing the newest Poll first…….

Indiana 9th

fmr. Rep. Mike Sodrel (R)  49 %
Rep. Baron Hill (D)  41 %
Undecided  10 %

New York 1st

Rep. Tim Bishop (D)  47 %
Randy Altschuler (R)  45 %
Undecided  8 %

Ohio 1st

fmr. Steve Chabot (R)  56 %
Rep. Steve Driehaus (D)  39 %
Undecided  5 %

Arkansas 2nd

Tim Griffin (R)  55 %
Rep. Vic Snyder (D)  39 %
Undecided  5 %

Note: One Day after this Poll came out Snyder announced his Retirement.

Merlin Take:

I talked a lot in my Ohio Projections about Hamilton County which is a Swing County. Well, OH-1 is in Hamilton County, and I’d have to say….. things are looking ominous for Driehaus. Without Obama on the Ballot, he’s unlikely to win.

Ditto for Rep. Baron Hill, who lives in a Swing District, and a potential Pence Candidacy would make matters worse.

Bishop is in the Race for his Political Life  also.

Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) is in deep….deep…..trouble………..

Hi Dog!

Since the beginning of 2009, Democrats have touted North Carolina Senior Senator Richard M. Burr (R) as the most endangered Republican Incumbent in this Cycle. Unlike in other Senate Contests, the DSCC had to deal with MAJOR Recruiting Setbacks in the Taar Heel State. First they tried to recruit Rep. Heath Shuler, then it was Attorney General Roy Cooper, then Rep. Mike McIntyre, and at last Rep. Bob Etheridge.

After initially ruling out a run Fmr. State Senator Calvin “Cal” Cunningham decided to run. Also in the running are, Secretary of State Elaine Marshall (she lost a Primary Race in 2002), and Attorney Kenneth Lewis.

Marshall is known as a very weak Fundraiser, and that’s the Reason DSCC Chair Menendez convinced Cunningham to run. Cunningham is only 36 years old.

Despite the very favorable Political Climate right now for Republicans…..

Richard Burr is still very much at risk in a new Poll from Public Policy Polling …..

North Carolina Senate 2010

Burr Job Approval

Approve  36 %
Disapprove  33 %
Not Sure  31 %

General Election

Incumbent Senator Richard M. Burr (R)  44 %
Secretary of State Elaine Marshall (D)  37 %
Undecided  18 %

Incumbent Senator Richard M. Burr (R)  45 %
fmr. State Senator Calvin “Cal” Cunningham (D)  36 %
Undecided  19 %

Incumbent Senator Richard M. Burr (R)  46 %
Attorney Kenneth “Ken” Lewis (D)  34 %
Undecided  20 %

Merlin’s Note:

It really…. really…. surprises me that you can only have a 36 % Job Approval, and still lead your 2 Main Challengers by 7 and 9 Points. This Race shows you how much the Political Climate favors Republicans right now.

PPP Host Dean Debnam said wisely…. ‘if things get better for Democrats, only a notch Burr will be in the Race for his Political Life’.

Ok since this is the Dog’s state…here is some thoughts….

Why anyone would want to Poll David Paterson in the November race is beyond me…..They guy isn’t going to be the Democratic nominee….Andrew Cuomo, the state AG is….Second….he will beat any Lazio hands down…unless he sits on his butt a nd does a ‘Coakley’….that’s not gonna happen….that race is over before it started…

Third…the Rasmussen poll for senator from the state tells us two things…..Fourth….Harold Ford shouldn’t run as a Indie….that won’t work…..(Bloomberg called himself a indie..but he ran as a Republican )….Fifth….. Ford with no real campaign, he hasn’t declared….. and having  not visited anyplace, but the 5 Boro’s of New York City, is only 15% behind the appointed Senator….Last …..with the taste left from the Coakley mess….why would any Democrat in New York not want Ford to test Gillibrand with a primary run?????
