Many of the outstanding votes are from DuPage County which only has 27% in. Giannoulias is about tied with Hoffman there. Quinn is marginally ahead of Hynes in that county so it very close.

  23. Excuse me….Dan Coats…….In 2005, Coats drew attention when he was chosen by President George W. Bush to shepherd Harriet Miers’ failed nomination to the Supreme Court through the Senate.??????

More….. From 1981 to 1988, Coats served in the United States House of Representatives as a representative from Indiana, having been elected to the seat Quayle vacated when he ran for the United States Senate. When Quayle resigned from the Senate after being elected Vice President of the United States in 1988, Coats was appointed to Quayle’s former seat. Coats served in the Senate until 1999.

    That from Wiki…another GOP retread!…..

This guy hasn’t been on Congress for ten years!

Merlin you guys are starting to REALLY SOUND DESPERATE!!!!

And if he runs hard…Alexi starts off with a foot up…true he he lose a half of that with his business problems….but if he can do this tonight..he has chance to win……

and he did it with a low turnout…..
