Another Poll for a State Republicans will pick up in November. U. S. Rep. Mary Fallin (R-OK) is the Frontrunner to succeed Democrat Brad Henry (D-OK).

Daniel G., Oklahoma State Attorney General Drew Edmondson (D) is the STRONGEST candidate the OK Democrats have as their nominee to fight to keep the Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion, but I agree, US Rep. Mary Fallin (R-OK) will be very tough to beat in the fall due to her 12 years as Lieutenant Governor, 4 years in the Legislature and 4 years in the House.

    Edmondson also has name recognition: winning 4 statewide elections since 1994 (the last 3 by massive landslide margins), his father, E.A. Edmondson served 20 years in the House for 10 2-year terms, and his uncle, J. Howard Edmondson served as the state’s 16th governor (1959-1963) and United States Senator (1963-1964).

  2. What this poll doesn’t tell you, is that Fallin’s numbers are dropping precipitously! Take a look at this poll from January http://www.tulsaworld.com/twpdfs//2010/Final/W_011010_A_4.PDF
