Daniel…..Wisconsin Governor: Republicans Walker, Neumann still have modest lead over Democrat Barrett although slightly reduced…..

Hello Dog!

During the Senate Poll I posted earlier I gave a little sneak peak how the Governor Numbers might go down. I was right. A new Statewide Survey for the Wisconsin Governor Race shows Republican Candidates Scott Walker (R-WI) and Mark Neumann (R-WI) still holding a modest lead over their main Democratic Rival, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D-WI).

Rasmussen Survey

Wisconsin Governor 2010

General Election

[ Walker and Barret ]
Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker (R)  48 %
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D)  42 %
Others  2 %
Undecided  8 %

Former U. S. Rep. Mark Neumann (R)  46 %
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D)  42 %
Others  4 %
Undecided  8 %

This could be a very, very close Race come November. Still in my view Walker seems to be the stronger Republican Candidate to take on Barrett.

  3. We’ll have to wait and see how the GOP primary for Wisconsin Governor plays out.

Any chance they can move their primary up to June or even April at least ?

Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty (R) recently signed a bill into law which will change that state’s primary to August.
