South Dakota Democratic Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin (D-SD) is now in a Toss-Up Race a new Survey in the State shows. Herseth-Sandlin now leads Secretary of State Chris Nelson (R-SD) by only 2 Points. A month ago she was ahead by 8 Points.

Note: Rasmussen is likely going to release a Governor Poll for South Dakota and with that you’ll get the Approvals.

Analysis:

First Pomeroy, now Herseth-Sandlin. To be honest with you I didn’t expect those kind of Numbers particular because Herseth-Sandlin voted AGAINST Obamas Health Care Bill. Still she is in a Toss-Up Race with the SoS. That doesn’t bode well for her over the next 8 months.

  1. Surprising indeed, but I always expected this seat to go GOP. I’m surprised Nelson isn’t leading and the others are as far behind as they are. I predicted a 2010 GOP wave back in mid-November 2008, and I think it’ll come true.
