Hey Daniel…my take……

Democrats are coming home in Florida and this would also confirm my feeling that Healthcare is a dead issue..and may even hurt the GOP if they continue to be the party of ‘No’…..

  1. james,

My guess: Way too early to tell if Dems coming home in Florida. It could only be a temporary bounce for Sink. I still have my doubts about Dems coming home there PARTICULAR because of the High Senior Vote in that State.

The Seniors don’t like the HCR Plan because it has robbed them from their Medicaid I believe.

  2. but they tend to vote democratic ,right?

    • For example james,

Senator Bill Nelson as well as Reps. like Allan Boyd need the Senior vote BADLY if they want to win.

If Seniors turn against Dems in that State Boyd, Komas, Grayson and Klein all could lose their District. All 4 heavily depending on them.

This was a bad move by Reid not to get a Medicaid Buy-In after 65. This really could cost them Seats.

Anyways I don’t like this Bill. Nothing of this is good.

  8. The FL Democrats badly need a win in the Governor’s Mansion after 12 years of Republican dominance and they haven’t gotten a victory since 1994 when then-Governor Lawton Chiles (D) came from behind to defeat Jeb Bush (R) that year, 51% to 49%.
