Primaries on May 11th.

There is one Race in particular which should tell us whether Democratic Voters are ready to oust Members of their own Party.

The West Virginia 1st Congressional District Democratic Primary where longtime U. S. Rep. Allan Mollohan (D-WV 1) faces a stiff Challenge from State Senator & ’00 as well as ’04 SoS Candidate Mike Oliverio (D-WV)

Can Mollohan survive this? Recent Internal Polling showed this Race as a TOSS-UP. Tune in on Tuesday Evening to find out.

We will have an “Special Election Night Results Thread” starting at 7pm ET 30 Minutes before Polls close.

As the we did the last time….Daniel carriers the ball from opening at 7:00 PM DST……and the Dog comes on board at 9:30 PM DST…..

  2. I don’t know what to make out of Mollohan. This could be really close and the 1st Congressional District is a pretty Conservative One. It has a PVI (Partisan Voting Index) of R + 9 not to mantion that Oliverio is running to Mollohans right.

      Mollohan has to run a little bit more to the right otherwise he’s gonna lose in November.

      Mollohan is also pretty old (66) so I don’t think there will be Incumbent Points.
