Wanna Known Wednesday: Men, Women & Video Games……For Up 4 Discussion….

From JSin.….

Welcome!

It’s Wednesday; and as usual we have a great discussion for you.  The discussion this week is focused on three things: Men, Women & Video Games.

Video Games

It’s no secret that video games have become a large form of entertainment in the U.S.  In 2009 alone video game sales accounted for more that $25 BILLION!  With the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 & Wii on the market gamers have a lot of variety when it comes down to finding a video game or system that they enjoy most.  For those of you who play video games you will most likely be aware of how popular multiplayer and co-op games have become.  In today’s society, the most fun is to be had by playing video games with others.  Whether they be friends, family, strangers or even a spouse or partner.

Men

Face it, second to sports (and women, of course, ;) ) men love their video games.  There is so much fun to be had sitting in front of that big screen TV with a controller in hand.  One minute he can be shooting hoops, then racing his dream car or simply blowing the competition away with the biggest gun he can get his player’s hands on.  Whatever he desires to do there is likely to be a game on the market that will allow him to do it.  As fun as video games may be not every man plays or even enjoys them, but there is a large number of men who do.

Women

When it comes to women and video games they typically fit into one of three categories:

  1. They HATE video games
  2. They LOVE video games; or
  3. They don’t hate or love video games but they do enjoy playing that one game they really like every now and then

Sounds simple, right?
