NYC Mayor Bloomberg leads the campaign to get Basketball Mega Star to come to New York…….

The whisper’s have been going on for a year…
MY son’s….My basketball/sneaker nephew  Chad…

All of them….

Lebron’s coming to New York….

Will it happen?

Will the Knicks finally get a chance to win?

Will Lebron come to marketing capital of the world?

Mayor Bloomberg hopes so…..

Hoops star LeBron James would be a great addition to the Knicks and should move here in order to get the chance to play on “the world’s greatest stage,” Mayor Bloomberg said today.

During his weekly radio show on WOR-AM this morning,Bloomberg joined the growing chorus of New Yorkers who would love to see the Cleveland Cavaliers star leave Ohio for the Big Apple….

“I think it would be great for New York if he would come here,” Bloomberg said. “If he calls me and asks what’s it like to live in New York, I’ll give him a big sales pitch for New York.”

The Boston Celtics eliminated the Cavaliers from the NBA playoffs Thursday night, fueling speculation that King James — who becomes a free agent on July 1 — will leave Cleveland.

Bloomberg said James would enjoy living here because the mayor loves “living in New York.”

“My kids love living in New York,” he added. “I think LeBron Jameswould love living in New York. It is the world’s greatest stage.”

What if LeBron decides to join the New Jersey Nets, who are planning to move to Brooklyn in 2011?

“I would never pick sides,” Bloomberg said……

LeBron is likely going to either Chicago or Miami or staying home in Cleveland.

PS: the Lakers have this in the BAG this year, so get used to seeing them dominate the entire NBA again folks.
