Daniel…..Reviewing Tuesdays Primary Races with Unofficial Election Results: 1. Kentucky

Hello Folks and Good Morning!

Let’s Review Tuesdays Primaries a bit with Unofficial Results:

1. Kentucky (Bluegrass State)

Mongiardo is requesting a Recanvass:

Bill Johnson  7,825 Votes =  2,2 %

Jon Scribner  2,853 Votes =  0,8 %
Gurley Martin  2,847 Votes =  0,8 %

Kentucky Secretary of State

Randall “Rand” Paul  206,812 Votes =  58,77 %*
C. M. “Trey” Grayson  124,710 Votes =  35,44 %
Bill Johnson  7,855 Votes =  2,23 %
John Stephenson  6,885 Votes =  1,96 %
Jon Scribner  2,813 Votes =  0,80 %
Gurley Martin  2,852 Votes = 0,81 %

Races for November:

United States Senate

State Attorney General John William “Jack” Conway (D)
Dr. Randall “Rand” Paul (R)

Toss-Up Race for me now. Conway is a pretty good Fundraiser and has already won Statewide.

KY 1st Congressional District

Incumbent U. S. Rep. Ed Whitfield (R)
Charles Hatchett (D)

KY 2nd Congressional District

Incumbent U. S. Rep. Brett Guthrie (R)
Ed Marksberry (D)

KY 3rd Congressional District

Incumbent U. S. Rep. John Yarmuth (D)
Todd Lally (R)

KY 4th Congressional District

Incumbent U. S. Rep. Geoff Davis (R)
John Waltz (D)

KY 5th Congressional District

Incumbent U. S. Rep. Hal Rogers (R)
Jim Holbert (D)

KY 6th Congressional District

Incumbent A. B. “Ben” Chandler (D)
Andy Barr (R)

Seems reasonable Mongiardo requesting a Recount because the AP Numbers and the Numbers from the KY State Board of Elections differ by around 1,000 Votes.
