5 days closer to seeing Arthur Davis WIN
I have to wait to see that…..
James B, I think Davis’ polling numbers may have taken a severe hit due to alienating many in the state’s African American political establishment who HATE the man for voting against Obama’s Economic Stimulus, Health Care Reform plan, and other things.
He’s really in a bad place constantly moving to the right to keep votes…which loses him other natural votes….
Same thing Harold Ford Jr. did in Tenn
Wh cares about Davis?
Alabama aint about to elect a Black Governor!
Im for Roy Moore
I like my nuts certified
Besides this goof is bound to make Alabama the laughingstock of the nation
And take the heat off South Carolina
Southern Republicans!
I would agree…but Obama IS the president..anything COULD happen…..
I still think he ain’t gonna make it….sorry
Very unlikely Roy Moore will be the GOP Nominee. He has too much baggage. I’m torn between Byrne and James. I like both. Difficult to decide whom I’m going to support on Tuesday.
What “baggage?”
This is ALABAMA
The Republicans down there regard Moore as thoroughly mainstream
Like most non southerners
You have NO idea how really extreeme these lunatics are
He does now!
Conservative Democrat
what you trying to???
I hope you don’ t SQUASH this century long dream of having an African American Governor in Alabama
especially a GOOD MAN like Arthur Davis who was looking out for his constituents by rejecting the Obama Health Crappy Plan
Arthur Davis POLL numbers are looking good
Come Tuesday I want all you down in BAMA to help your neighbors get to the polls
http://www.ourcampaigns.com/RaceDetail.html?RaceID=333371
jack,
Moore will not win this – PERIOD and End of Story.
james,
Thanks for making this Preview the first Post.
You welcome…..gotta take care of my polling KING!
..gotta take care of my polling KING!

ala ML King or Rufus King
See Gail Collins’ astonishing, but apparently all-true, NY Times op-ed column on Alabama campaigning this year.
Alabama Goes Viral
Confirmation:
Final CA Primary Field Poll to be released either tonight or tomorrow Night.
whoops! seems you goper’s also have a candidate blemishing his miltary record claiming to have served in iraq(wich he did not) and winning awards for himself(it was a group award not to himself personally). rep kirk of illinois). where are the rightwingers cries now like they did to my attorney general blumenthal and senate dem nominee in connecticut? blumenthal is still way ahead unlike kirk.
Yea Terry…..They ALL do it…..
I did the post to point that out!
jack believe what u want to believe. it is not end of story according to self appointed polling god daniel g. anything is possible in politics.
true james b, but gopers love taking the moral high ground. see rep souder, henry hyde, newt gingrich, ect…..
also i see the new election projection(blogging caesar) put the pa senate race from weak gop to weak dem lead. yay! im sure daniel g. seen that by now. toomey MAY go down. i am not like daniel g. claiming im RIGHT all the time. but i feel good about the dems keeping that seat!
As I expected…..The Scott Brown thing was in fact……. the result of a lousy Coakley run….
the Scott Brown WIN was because Obama couldn’t afford to have Coakley on Capitol Hill complaining about the war in Afghanistan
off for the day from work so i will chill on and off thru the day and eve for the primary results. hey james. thinking about pizza for dinner this eve.
I Love Pizza!
Terry Green
Look forward to celebrating the ARTHUR DAVIS victory in spirit with you
I have been campaigning for Arthur Davis for a little over a year and TONIGHT I hope to see that work pay off
*
Netanyahu cancels White House visit
Seeing Obama is the last thing on his mind…They talked for a hour this morning….
Arthur Davis is a G_D send
An African American DEMOCRAT opposed to the WORST policies put forth by Obama
To get his butt elected…..
Still talking about Davis?
The high point of his campaign is tonight
Its all downhill from herre to his defeat in November
The idea that a Deep South Red State is going to elect a Black Democrat Governor is ludicrous
lol, i feel honored but that said if davis wins in november i would be shocked. i just think that aint happening. alabama is just too ruby red for ANY dem let alone a african american. i could be wrong but i DOUBT IT SERIOUSLY. i want him to make it. davis winning in alabama is like a rightwing nutjob winning very blue new state.
agreed…..he’s probably so far to the right…you couldn’t REALLY consider him a democrat…..
alabama is the same state that brought us george wallace, voted gop for president for 30 years and had no dem in the chair for like 16 years. i see davis has became a blue dog dem to court more moderate to right leaning alabamans. a none starter for the general. if a redneck rightwinger has a pick between a rightwing real goper and a johnny come lately blue dog dem he will pick the real conservative everytime. just being realistic.
no need to feel bad….what is…IS
To get his butt elected….
———–
I believe it is because Arthur Davis has thought the policies through and realizes they are harmful policies
taking a break
looking forward to a cigar, beer, and thinking of Conservative Democrat and the DREAM WE have shared about Davis winning
will not work tim. obama lost alabama by 20 points in 2008. even bill clinton lost alabama in both 1992 and 1996 when he was wining big nationwide in those years. if davis wins in alabama that would mean dems all over the country is mopping the floor with gopers. i admit dems will lose seats in november regardless. just less than gopers here and nationally have been perdicting.
Whoever wants to say there’s any state (or territory) in the Union where someone should abstain from running because of his or her race?
That said, I can’t see Artur (no H) Davis winning Alabama. It has a large Afro-American minority (26.2%), but it’s not as big as Mississippi’s (37.5%), Louisiana’s (31.6%), Maryland’s (28.9%) or South Carolina’s (28.4%) . And while Obama’s race helped him to carry the Democratic electorate in the Southern primaries, he won none of the Deep South states in November, even with much higher black turnout, because of the racial alignment of the parties (Southern GOP = non-black; D = almost all of the black vote + about a third of the white vote).
We all agree with that…..
Arthur Davis is different from Obama and Clinton
WHY
POLICY
dont hate.. HISTORY is here
BREAKING news about one of the GREATEST CIA OPERATIVES
Al and Tipper Gore, whose playful romance enlivened Washington and the campaign trail for a quarter century, have decided to separate after 40 years of marriage, the couple told friends Tuesday.

Folks, Davis is MODERATE pro-life, pro-gun, pro-capital punishment, etc.,
He’ll win the Democratic nomination tonight, but I see the GOP primary going into a runoff between James and Byrne.
Jack, do you have problems with African Americans winning statewide office in the South ?
Thurbert Baker, Mike Thurmond in GA and many others have held down-ballot statewide offices in other Southern states.
No
I have problems with silly cheerleading practiced by you and some others
Davis is not going to be elected Governor
Its as simple as that
And your incessant blabbering that he is
Is annoying as well as absurd
Conservative Democrat
Davis can win this thing
It is all about GALVANIZING the voters
Obama did it
and NOW Davis must do it
The Davis machine needs to build strong in Birmingham and Montgomery and use the SCATTER EFFECT from those two hubs
with a constant build-up and SCATTER EFFECT from those two cities ALL SUMMER and FALL
DAVIS WILL WIN
The Davis plan
Guaranteeing African American voters feel comfortable with Davis
Guaranteeing the YOuth will step up for Davis
PLENTY of face time with OLd time DEmocrats
and getting FISCAL conservative INDEPENDENTS to vote for him
