commentary on Politics and a little bit of everything else

Women have a very good day June 8…….Lincoln, Whitman, Fiorina and Angle win their primaries….

Women win big in Tuesday primaries

[ Clockwise…..From top left.   Lincoln, Whitman, Fiorina and Angle ]

Well, Well, Well……..

Look at this !

When I went to sleep last night it didn’t sink in on me that it was strong female night…..

It has now……

My guys here who don’t like women in politics are going to have to swallow hard……

I already did a Lincoln post, He, he, he……

Again…..Am I ever happy to call a race wrong with voters doing the right thing, YES!

With women in California……

Same thing really….

Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina are both rich women who made their bones thru the business world…

Both where able to spend large amounts of money in their campaigns…..

They will both lose in the end…

But they will both put up good fights…..

Jerry Brown and Barbara Boxer are in for good fights…

Angle in Nevada is Reid’s dream candidate…

A Tea Partier…

She is going to get battered …….

We’ll see if her positions ring true with the general voters on that state…..

All in all not a bad day for the Democrats in general….

And a good day for women around the country……

  2. AND yes, Lincoln is TOAST against Boozman as Halter would have been too.

AFL-CIO & SEIU (The Unions who backed Halter) OPENLY talking about backing Boozman in the General Election.

  5. Lincoln will get a bounce and close on Boozman….

    I’d say he’s favored…..But this WILL close…..

    Comment by jamesb101 | June 9, 2010 | Reply

    • No it won’t,

Boozman wins by a least 15 Points. The Bounce will fade.

  6. Daniel!

    I love it!!!!!!!

Tell them to back him 100%!!!!!!

    You’re giving me goose bumps!

The Union’s behind Boozman will give this race to Lincoln….

    The senate is the dem’s……

Daniel I said it all along now I’m sure…..
Reid and Lincoln looking to return….
    Politics is always interesting!

    Comment by jamesb101 | June 9, 2010 | Reply

    • Lincoln will not return – Period. You’re really much more stupid than I thought by claiming Lincoln would win in a State Obama lost by 30 Points in 2008.

Although I was for Halter I’m very glad Lincoln won it. Now she can’t run away from the President anymore.

      Comment by Daniel G. | June 9, 2010 | Reply

  7. I say again…..With the Union’s Boozman loses……

    Write it down!

    Comment by jamesb101 | June 9, 2010 | Reply

    • Not so fast. They haven’t endorsed.

dumb kid. Look at the Math. Lincoln needs at least 50 % of the Halter Voters to beat Boozman in November and she won’t get that.

      Can’t wait for November 3rd.

A double dip is coming and then YOUR Party is TOAST.

  8. You are also forgetting something I forgot….

    William Jefferson Clinton……

Damn….I didn’t think it would count but it will…
He’s going be Velcroed to Lincoln during October…like he’s running again…

    She ‘s gonna win Daniel……

The senate is gone from the GOP!!!!

  9. Take a deep breath….

    Count to 10…then exhale……

This fall is gonna be rough on ya……

    Comment by jamesb101 | June 9, 2010 | Reply

  10. Of Course she’s gonna run against Obama…

Man even Rangel running against him….

I think it’s smart for all of them..

Obama screwed them on Healthcare before he joined the fight…Why shouldn’t they run against him?

    He’ll need them next year…No hard feelings…..
    This IS politcs…….

    Comment by jamesb101 | June 9, 2010 | Reply

    • Lincoln is really dumber than I thought. If she runs against Obama she’ll be swiftboated like Kerry in 2004.

Karl Rove, please come back and bring Jeb Bush with you.

      Comment by Daniel G. | June 9, 2010 | Reply

  11. Again,

Dumb kid. The Math doesn’t add up. When do you finally get that.

I’ll be rough for you, not on me. Every Democratic Senator needs to be shooted out.

    Comment by Daniel G. | June 9, 2010 | Reply

  12. Halter voters will split….
Majority get back on the Lincoln bus…
    They are democrats……
Lincoln also gets indie’s and some moderate GOPer’s….

    Comment by jamesb101 | June 9, 2010 | Reply

    • No, it won’t

Halter Voters will stay home. HA, HA, HA

      Comment by Daniel G. | June 9, 2010 | Reply

  13. From PPP:

“Between Barack Obama’s unpopularity in her state and her own problems Lincoln is pretty much bound to be the Rick Santorum of this cycle- down a ton early and not ever able to really come close to catching up. National Democratic groups should use their resources elsewhere.”

There you have it. HA, HA, HA

    Comment by Daniel G. | June 9, 2010 | Reply

  14. james you really do have the patience of Job putting up with these ridiculous comments from Daniel G. on your own site as well as the psychotic rantings of Leal.

As for Lincoln. I expected her to lose by 4-6 pts so I am surprised as anyone. I thought Halter would have been the better candidate going into the fall but Lincoln’s victory shows she still has some fight in her and might make it after all. Though I’d still call this race leans GOP.

Too bad Orly Tatiz lost the GOP primary for Sec. of State in CA. I was looking forward to having Whitman and Fiorina have to run with her on the ticket. Speaking of the two billionairess candidates I think Whitman is the smarter of the two, but that’s not saying much.

  15. Well Daniel’s taking some time off I think…….

My reading of the Arkansas race dynamic was correct….

If the union’s back Boozmen he will lose votes….
The South is still pretty much anti-Union….
And I under estimated the strength of Clinton in his home state…..

  16. James B, my California 2010 statewide predictions:

United States Senator-GOP GAIN, the GOP will finally get their wish and take Boxer into retirement.

Governor-Brown will win his 5th statewide election and head back to the governor’s mansion. DEM GAIN.

Lieutenant Governor-Maldonado will easily win a full four-year term over Newsome, who is too LIBERAL for moderate and Indy voters and plus his record as SF Mayor will be picked apart. GOP HOLD

Secretary of State-DEM HOLD. Bowen wins re-election easily.

    State Treasurer-DEM HOLD.

    State Insurance Commissioner-DEM GAIN.

    State Attorney General-TOSSUP.
