Analysis:

WOW, Obama at nearly 50 JA in Florida. I haven’t seen this for quite a while PARTICULAR from Rasmussen. McCollum may also have indeed been hurt by his Health Care Repeal Lawsuit. I always thought this was a bad Idea to do especially from McCollum who campaigns still in a “Swing State”.

Ah, Daniel…..The Democratic voters coming home…..Just like I thought they would here and in other states…..

He, he, he…can you imagine what would happen if Crist drops out of the Senate race and runs for Governor…Whew!

Hey Daniel…my take……

Democrats are coming home in Florida and this would also confirm my feeling that Healthcare is a dead issue..and may even hurt the GOP if they continue to be the party of ‘No’…..

Daniel……Florida Governor: No matter how you slice it Republicans are favored to retain the Florida Governor Mansion…..

Hello Dog!

The part of the PPP Poll in the Sunshine State has been released and this time we’re looking at the Governor Race. PPP pretty much finds the same what we saw in other Polls. Although McCollum isn’t well liked he’s favored to retain the Florida Governorship in November.

Analysis:

Let me get this straight: I don’t like McCollum BUT I’ll support him if he’s indeed the Republican Nominee.

Daniel G.

Hey Daniel….I wonder what the dynamic would be if Crist decided to re-run for Governor?

Answer…..Crist would win…. of course….. if he switches back to the Governor’s Race. The Problem is in the very same Poll he’s trailing McCollum for the GOP Governor Nomination by a 49-35 margin.

The PoliticalDog Calls for the Florida Senate and Governor races at this time…….

The Dog and its resident Merlin here by make these projections in the Florida senate  and governor race…..at this time….
FL-SEN GOP Primary

Charlie Crist  50,52 %
Marco Rubio  47,85 %
Others 1,63 %

FL-SEN General Election

Charlie Crist (R)  56,55 %
Kendrick Meek (D)  43,45 %

Marco Rubio (R)  58,48 %
Kendrick Meek (D)  41,52 %

FL-GOV

Bill McCollum (R)  49,42 %
Alex Sink (D)  48,35 %
Others  2,23 %

Note:….While  our resident Merlin points out that Meek is behind all known republicans….I have to remind our Merlin that there is a year to go…and Mr. Meek can expect Rubio’s hard right turn to turn off quite a few democrats, indie’s and moderate GOPer’s…that’s Meek’s sweet spot…..

Our Merlin’s call on the governor race is….’The Governor Race is close particular because Sink gets more Votes out of Southern Florida (Gold Coast; Broward, Palm Beach and Dade Counties) than McCollum gets out of the Panhandle. Both Candidates are essentially tied in the I-4 Corridor getting 48 % each.’

As always remember…… we’re not pollster’s, our resident Merlin does have some sort of thing cooking in his back room that spits this stuff out….and so far it’s pretty good, even if I don’t like the reults a lot of times…..
