The ‘Ragin Cajun’ Carville…goes after the Obama White House……They push back….

Here’s the video.…..From a few days ago…..

Carville is pissed….He’s from…… and still has a house in Louisiana

The White House pushes back…….

Obama Oil Spill

[ Gibbs……Carville ]

The White House defended itself againstJames Carville’s scathing criticism of the federal response to the BP oil spill Friday.

During an Air Force One flight after the President’s visit to Louisiana, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters that Carville, a Democratic strategist, didn’t have his facts straight. A pool report included a transcript of Gibbs’ remarks:

Reporter: What does the President have to say about the fact that some of his staunchest supporters like James Carville have essentially turned on him, have some strong things to say about the way he’s been handling the oil spill?
Gibbs: Truthfully, I think the President answered this yesterday. I think people — I don’t think James understands all of what we’re doing. I don’t think James understood the facts.

On Thursday, Carville continued to criticize the federal response and told Campbell Brown that he believes President Obama’s advisers aren’t relaying to the President the gravity of the disaster.

“I know I’m not a Harvard law… guy, professor of law at the University of Chicago,” Carville said. “People down here know what they’re seeing. It seems the President is madder at his critics than he is at BP.”

Carville wanted to know why the Minerals Management Service, the agency in charge of doling out offshore leases and regulating the industry, was not better managed before the spill.

Carville: “I really do take real issue here and I’d like to know from the Secretary of the Interior (Ken Salazar) what was going on, because we knew this was a corrupt thing,” said Carville. Referring to an Inspector General’s report suggesting a corrupt relationship between MMS employees and the oil industry, Carville described the findings as “One of the most devastating things ever. Why this place wasn’t fumigated, cleaned out? I don’t know.”

The Raging Cajun….James Carville on The Saints and Landrieu winning…….

Carville: The Saints are a large part of the fabric of the community here and have helped to bring everyone together in the toughest of times.

Underdogs and comebacks are hailed in American culture; perhaps this is why there will be so much said and written about our New Orleans Saints’ 31-17 victory in Super Bowl XLIV and what it means to a once-water-logged city and its tenacious residents.

I am as excited about the outcome of the game as any other member of the Who Dat Nation, but perhaps as important as bringing home the Vince Lombardi trophy, this win gives New Orleans an opportunity to highlight how far she has come and how promising her future looks today.

For as challenging a decade as the 2000s were for New Orleans, the 2010s may prove to be the brightest time in the city’s nearly 300-year history. The confluence of the Saints’ win and the historic mayoral election, which Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu won in a landside across racial lines, line up for the city’s best two days since the Battle of New Orleans in 1815.

While we celebrate the team’s victory this evening at the parade, the city and the region will also be celebrating how far we have come as a community. The Saints are a large part of the fabric of the community here and have helped to bring everyone together in the toughest of times. Following the Super Bowl and the mayoral election, there is a unity of spirit and purpose unlike any time in our history. And it’s on display for the world to see.

Not a bad thing for a Team and a City that has suffered hard times…..

The ‘Ragin Cajun’ (James Carville) thinks Sara Palin is pretty and so is his wife!

James Carville (aka Skeletor) , the democratic strategist, is fast on feet..and knows how to cover his rear….

While speaking on CNN’s State of the Union program…Carville and his wife , Mary Matalin, a former aide Vice President Cheney,  got into discussing the Newsweek cover that took a picture from Runner’s World magazine of Sara Palin, and ran it on their cover….

Matalin and Palin thought that Newsweek’s use of the cover was sexist (Give me a break, pleaseeee!)

Matlalin then chimed in….”she looked good in it, right?”

To which Carville added..not skiping a beat….”She does…Ain’t no doubt you and her are best looking women in the Republican Party”

You got points on that one Mr Carville…..

Note : This is my post on the pictures of Palin when they came out…..another comment here….

James Carville gets spoofed on SNL, and gets a warm moment from his wife……on the air!

You gotta see this if you’re  a Carville fan or foe……or…if you’re Mary Matalin fan or foe……at the end  of this Sunday’s John King CNN program, they show a spoof of the ‘Ragin Cajun’ in a Saturday Night Live skit ……after viewing it, Carville puts himself down, saying he thinks he looks like ‘Skeletor’…..to King’s surprise, the ex-Clinton political operative gets a warm, and immediate compliment from his wife, who seems to love him very much …even if he’s a Democrat…………..
