Daniel….. Louisiana Senate: Vitter still comfortably ahead of Melancon; Now leads him by 16 Points……

Hello Dog!

According to a new Statewide Survey in the Bayou State Junior Senator David Vitter (R-LA) is still comfortably ahead over U. S. Rep. Charles J. “Charlie Melancon (D-LA). Vitter now leads the Congressman by 16 Points.

Vitter like North Carolina’s Richard Burr (R-NC) was once considered as Prime-Time Target by Democrats because of his Scandal in 2005.

Running this year in a very favorable Environment for Republicans helps him a lot.

Daniel…..Vitter remains ahead…no doubt….but the Dog expects this race to close……Democrats will need to pony up more money for Melencon…and there should be some democrats coming in home towards the end of the race…..For a guy who is the first GOP senator from that state …lets see how the race goes…..
I’ll admit that thye Katrina exodus did drain hundreds of thousands of Democratic votes…and ex- Mayor Nagin was a bust……

This race is now tied from last months having Brown ahead by 4% points…..two months ago the race was tied at 41%…..Brown has a larger favorable rating then Whitman and that could keep him ahead……
