Thoughts on tonite’s races from the Dog……

Virginia Governors race…What can I say?…this one was over two weeks ago…the dem’s picked a lackluster candidate….and he went on to lose the race all by himself……

New Jersey Governors race.….I think it all started with the car accident…the people of new Jersey saw the whole incident as irresponsible….and things went down hill after that  the economy tanked……Corzine’s money was resented by people who had lost their jobs….the negative campaign against Chris Christie (his weight) started off good but turned on Corzine last week the polls show…Once the Daggert people realized that they really had no chance..they went to Christie, NOT Corzine….Obama campaigning will be used by the national media as a big deal…it wasn’t…the last Obama rally I hear was about 13,000 people …nothing for this president…the final nail in the coffin was Bill Clinton campaigning for him…the last few Clinton campaigned for lost…….

The fact is so many people thought bad of the current Governor of New Jersey that the habit of that state returning to the democrats didn’t happen……

Mayor of the City of New York……Another rich guy that got into trouble tonight…Mike Bloomberg spend more than $85 million on a campaign that narrowly netted him his job…This had to be a blow to his ego and political strength with New Yorkers and the democratic party……he was sup[posed to win by at least 2 to 15b 5 of the vote…that didn’t happen…..his third term should be his last…..follow the rules “Money Mike’ do your run and go back to Wall Street…..

NY-23rd….I’m glad to see this race where it is currently…I restores my faith in the fact the people don’t really want to go all the way to right as a purity test even in upstate New York…… I hope that Owens hangs on there, and wins for the moderates in both parties…..

Update:……Hoffman just conceded the race (NY-23rd) …..the dem’s go to sleep with at least one win…and the conservatives ponder this race….and its implications……

Corzine closes to even in New Jersey……….

The results from a Monmouth University/Gannett Poll released today shows the race could be tied (they did two polls..the smaller one comes out 43/40 Christie , the larger 40/40, and since I was told in college statistics that larger polls are more accurate, I’m quoting the larger)……with the momentum with Corzine, who should pull it out, since New Jersey has come home  to the democrat’s for the past decade……..the three candidates do the first of three debates tonight…..

Here’s the link on the debate………
