Daniel…..Ohio Governor & Senate: KOS Survey shows Democratic Candidates leading Ohio Races AND I’m very suspicious about it……

Hello Dog!

A new Survey from the “Ultra Leftist Website” Daily Kos done with Research 2000 shows Democrats leading the Ohio Governor & Senate Races. I’m very sceptical about Kos Surveys but ya’all know that.

Research 2000 / Daily Kos Survey

Ohio Governor 2010

General Election

[ Strickland and Kaisch ]

Incumbent Governor Ted Strickland (D)  45 %
Former U. S. Rep. John Kasich (R)  40 %
Undecided  15 %

Ohio Senate 2010

Democratic Primary

Ohio Lieutenant Governor Lee Irwin Fisher  35 %
Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner  26 %
Undecided  39 %

General Election

Ohio Lieutenant Governor Lee Irwin Fisher (D)  43 %
Former U. S. Rep. Robert J. “Rob” Portman (R)  39 %
Undecided  18 %

Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner (D)  41 %
Former U. S. Rep. Robert J. “Rob” Portman (R)  40 %
Undecided  18 %

Major Candidates Campaign Websites:

Analysis:

Even if I don’t like the KOS Polls I’ve to admit that Democrats likely benefitting from the Democratic Senate Primary between Fisher and Brunner which gives them a lot of TV Ad time.

Also the Polling Averages on Real Clear Politics and Pollster.com are showing three essential Toss-Up Races right now.
Once the Primary is over I expect Portman to stretch out his lead a little bit. Kasich with Lehman Brothers is a different Story though.

Daniel…..OH-GOV, OH-SEN: Democrats received a modest Bounce and now lead Republicans in both Races new Quinnipiac University Survey finds…..

Hello Political Dog!

American Voters it appears don’t look on Health Care equally in each State. Following the passing of the Health Care Reform Bill Democrats received a modest Bounce in the Buckeye State and now have slim leads over their Republican Counterparts a new Quinnipiac University Survey shows.

Disapprove  30 %
Not Sure  25 %

Senator George Voinovich (R)

Approve  46 %
Disapprove  36 %
Not Sure  18 %

Analysis:

This is indeed quite surprising. Just last week Public Policy Polling (PPP) had both Republicans ahead in the Governor & Senate Races. We need to be VERY CAREFUL which State we’re looking in. Health Care doesn’t seem to have nearly the sane impact as in Missouri which is also a “Swing State”

Daniel G.

Daniel …I did mention that this is another state that tends to be democratic?…and while Obama has never been that popular here…..like Michigan, Illinois and Pennslylavania…I expect these state’s voters to come home to democrats in the fall elections….

From Daniel…..Ohio Governor & Senate: Republicans still have modest Edge…..

Hello Dog!

A new Statewide Survey in the Buckeye State shows Republican Candidates John Kasich & Rob Portman with leads over their Democratic Opponents. At this Point the Senate Race is closer than the Governor Race.

What was Q-Pac thinking showing Strickland ahead 44-39 over Kasich. At some Point I’ve to question them. In the Senate Q-Pac is in Line with RAS showing Portman over Brunner by 6 and Portman over Fisher by 5.

Daniel G.

Hey Daniel..maybe the Q Poll results mean that the race is pretty much a tie right now and on the way to a Democratic lead?

You know how much I trust Rasmusssen…..

Daniel G on the Ohio Governor's race…..

Morning Dog!

[ Strickland and Karisch]
Ohio Governor Ted Strickland (D-OH) has retaken back the lead according to a new Quinnipiac University Poll. Strickland now leads his main Republican Rival John Kasich (R-OH) by 5 Points.

Quinnipiac University Survey

Not Sure  5 %

Governor Ted Strickland (D)

Disapprove  40 %
Not Sure  12 %

It looks like Strickland has hit the basement and is slowly creaping up the ladder. EVEN Rasmussen found it: Look in January they had Kasich up 9 (48-39), in February they had Kasich up 6 (47-41). I wonder what their March Polling will say. The Trends working in Stricklands Favor right now I would think.
