President Obama orders buffalo wings at Duff's Famous Wings in Buffalo, N.Y., Thursday.

The President…….. in Buffalo to talk to factory workers about the economy made a pit stop at a Duff’s Famous Chicken Wings…..

When the he stepped up to the counter for his order……. he got a surprise from counterperson Luann Haley……

“You’re a hottie with a smokin’ little body,” Luann Haley, 45, told the president as he checked out the fare at Duff’s Famous Wings in upstate Cheektowaga.

To which the married President offered a friendly squeez…..

Girl don’t list your address….

Michele can a get ride to Buffalo…’right quick’…….

When it was pointed out that her up-close-and-personal moment with the president would probably be seen on TV by First Lady Michelle Obama, Haley stayed cool.

“That’s all right,” she said as the cameras rolled, adding “Hi, Michelle – eat your heart out!”

It was by the lightest moment of an otherwise heavy-duty day for Obama – and that included his lunch order.

Clearly straying from his wife’s eat-your-veggies mantra, Obama paid $10.82 for 10 wings – five regular, five extra crispy – plus french fries and onion rings.

“This is the wing capital,” the president tried to argue.

The unannounced stop at Duff’s came as Obama planned to meet with factory workers in hard-hit Buffalo to talk about the economy, and later huddle at One Police Plaza in New York City with Mayor Bloomberg to talk about terror funding.

Earlier, Obama met privately for about 10 minutes with relatives of victims from the plane crash that killed 50 people near Buffalo last year.
Inquiries into the crash of Continental Connection Flight 3407 raised serious questions about the pilots’ training, skills and schedules.

President Obama is GAME ON!…….He is in Afghanistan visiting Karzai and the Troops….

Continuing a remarkable week……

The President of the United States of America further displays his bona fides but traveling to Afghanistan instead of being at Camp David…to visit the troops and to talk to the President of that country Hamid Karzai……

The trip a la’ George Bush feint…The Commander in Chief left for a 13 hour flight that has him in there at night….

He will be leaning on Karzai to pitch in and help get things rolling within his own country by providing support for military gains his troops along the Americans and NATO have made……

Those military gains will not hold unless the population feels safe and the country provides basic services  to its population…..

Air Force One landed at nighttime at Bagram Air Base after a 13-hour nonstop flight for a visit shrouded in secrecy for security reasons; Mr. Obama quickly boarded a helicopter for the trip to Kabul, landing at the presidential palace for talks with President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan.

Mr. Obama’s trip caps a high-profile week for the president in which he coupled a singular domestic policy victory — the signing of a health reform bill — with the foreign policy achievement: reaching an arms control agreement with Russia in which the two agreed to slash their nuclear arsenals to the lowest levels in half a century.

Coming on top of that, the Palm Sunday visit to American combat troops by their commander in chief could project the image of a president keeping on top of a number of issues at once.

General James L. Jones, the National Security adviser, told reporters aboard the flight to Bagram that Mr. Obama would try to make Mr. Karzai “understand that in his second term, there are certain things that have not been paid attention to, almost since day one.” Gen. Jones said those things included “a merit-based system for appointment of key government officials, battling corruption, taking the fight to the narco-traffickers,” which, “provides a lot of the economic engine for the insurgents.”

Is this any way to run a White House??????

I’m gonna post this piece up as a systemic problem of the Obama’s White House problem with getting ‘its act together’…..

It’s from David Sessions @ PolitcsDaily…...

Syracuse School Children Upset Over White House Response to Letter…..

The students of the H.W. Smith School in Syracuse, N.Y., are upset with President Obama for answering an invitation to visit their school with a form letter, local television station WSYR reports. The children mailed the president a letter on Nov. 13, inviting him to come help them build a snowman. They included a photo of the group, and wrote about how building a snowman together would demonstrate unity and peaceful living.

The reply they received from the White House was dated Nov. 6 — a week before they sent their letter — and was addressed to “students.” Most of the students said they did not expect the president to visit them, but they had hoped for something more personal than a form letter.

“I was disappointed because I think his office could have done better than that,” Kiana Furgeson, a sixth-grader at H.W. Smith said. Simeon Greenberg, a third-grader, added: “I felt disrespected. It was very disappointing to get that kind of response.”

The students decided to answer the White House with a complaint about its informal response, and sent Obama another letter asking him to consider having his staff write personal responses to his mail. “If they wrote the letter we received as an answer on a test, they would not have a passing grade because they did not answer the question,” the students wrote.

The WSYR report did not include a response from the White House…….hummmmmm?
