Rasmussen Polls on The California Governor race and The Louisiana Senate race…….

From Rasmussen Polls

[Brown and Whitman…..]

California Governor…….

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely California voters finds Republican hopeful Whitman and Brown tied with 43% each. Six percent (6%) like some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided.

This race is now tied from last months having Brown ahead by 4% points…..two months ago the race was tied at 41%…..Brown has a larger favorable rating then Whitman and that could keep him ahead……

[Senator David Vitter ]

Louisana Senate….

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in the state shows Vitter leading Democratic Congressman Charlie Melancon 57% to 33%. Just three percent (3%) would opt for some other candidate, while seven percent (7%) are undecided.

Obama is doing good overall…but suffers generally in state polls…..

I get several polls…and while reading them I began to notice smoething that I thought couldn’t be right?……..while Obama polls in a almost all the big Polls at about 50%…a breakdown of the polls by state, shows a troubling disconnect for the presdient……

In a several of the states that he won in the general election almost a year ago…..he\’s down below 50%…way down…..

It’s too early to worry about 2012, and once he starts campaigning things will turn around…..but a long hot August, the isues of Aftghanistan, the economy, unemployment and some old bug- a-boo’s are taking their toll on the Presidents’s ratings………
