Note: Rasmussen is likely going to release a Governor Poll for South Dakota and with that you’ll get the Approvals.

Analysis:

First Pomeroy, now Herseth-Sandlin. To be honest with you I didn’t expect those kind of Numbers particular because Herseth-Sandlin voted AGAINST Obamas Health Care Bill. Still she is in a Toss-Up Race with the SoS. That doesn’t bode well for her over the next 8 months.

From Daniel G…..South Dakota House At-Large: Might Rep. Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin (D-SD) be in trouble this year?…..

Hello Dog!

A new Statewide Survey in South Dakota shows that Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin (D-SD) could have some tough Road ahead this year. The new Rasmussen Survey shows Herseth leading her Main Republican Rival, Secretary of State Chris Nelson (R-SD) by 7 Points (45-38). Those findings are remarkable close to what PPP found in mid December when they showed a 46-39 split in favor of Herseth-Sandlin.

Incumbent U. S. Rep. Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin (D)  51 %

Note: Rasmussen is supposed to release a new Poll for the State’s Open Governor Race sometime this morning.

First Pomeroy, now Herseth-Sandlin. Things don’t look great for the Democrats in the Dakotas. Encouraging for Herseth-Sandlin is that she still leads every Republican Challenger compared to Pomeroy BUT with popular Senator John Thune at the top of the Ticket as well as Lt. Governor Daugaard who will likely be the Republican Governor Nominee this could get really tough for her.

From the Dog……May I point out Herseth-Sandlin is currently about 7 to 8 % ahead in the Rasmussen and PPP polls……
