The NSA tries to humnanize ‘Lie Detector’ tests in a video…..

Ok…..

This is your tax money at work…..

Video ‘s on why you shouldn’t be afraid of a polygraph?……

The National Security Agency has posted a video online explaining how it uses polygraphs to screen job candidates, in an attempt to ease the fears of potential applicants.

The video, titled “The Truth About Polygraphs,” depicts interviews with several subjects discussing their experiences taking the polygraph, also commonly referred to as a lie detector. Polygraph examiners in the video argue there is a great deal of misinformation surrounding the practice and attempt to dispel some of the fear and apprehension surrounding the test.

The video uses interviews with former applicants, polygraph examiners and NSA employees to make the process seem less threatening. It also uses humor via short clips from TV shows and movies like “The Simpsons” and “Meet the Parents.”

According to the video, the actual NSA polygraph examination is roughly five minutes long and consists of a subject answering “yes” or “no” questions while a machine monitors their heart rate and blood flow. Subjects are asked questions such as “Have you engaged in espionage against the United States?” or “Have you provided classified information to an unauthorized person?”

The questions are repeated and if there are any results that would raise concern, the patient is allowed to discuss the issue with the examiner to explain themselves more thoroughly. After the interview the results are first sent to a quality control official before the subject is notified whether or not they passed. Even if a candidate fails their original polygraph, the video claims that 90 percent of candidates are given a second chance at the examination.

Could the CIA release the video on how to beat the test?

Ok…..

Just kidding………

There is a tape from the boat that the Israeli’s raided……It raises questions….

The woman who shot the tape smuggled out her memory card in her underwear…

She has about an hour on the tape…..

She makes some very interesting observations that magnify the Dogs view that the operation was

not a very good..or popular one….

On both sides…

First of all she seems to confirm that Israeli Special Operators used NON-LETHAL weapons when they first arrived on the ship…..

Second she implies that the Special Operators seem to be very uncomfortable on the op….

By that she seems to imply that the operators didn’t want to be on the mission….

Where they ordered to do something they had problems with?

Was this discpline…or policy related?

Something is not right with the whole thing…from outside  AND INSIDE…..

Iara Lee, a Brazilian-American filmmaker and activist who was shooting a documentary on the flotilla of ships that was intercepted last week on its way to Gaza, has posted one hour of unedited video online that shows the early stages of the Israeli commando raid.

Since the camera was on a lower deck of the ship, it also shows but does not give a clear view of the violent confrontation and shootings that took place on the top deck of the ship, after Israeli commandos boarded from a helicopter and met with resistance from passengers on board. But the video, and accompanying audio, will help give a better sense of the timeline of the raid. It also shows clearly the area of the ship where wounded and dying passengers — and soldiers — were brought for medical treatment.

At a news conference at the United Nations on Thursday, where the video was screened for members of the media, Ms. Lee explained that she managed to smuggle out the video by hiding the card. She added that another video card she tried to hide was discovered and confiscated by Israeli authorities, along with her video equipment.

Ms. Lee also said that her success at smuggling the video out may have been partly because, in her view, the Israeli soldiers who were given the task of searching the detainees from the flotilla of ships were “young people who didn’t seem to want to be there.” She pointed out that some of the other journalists on board the ship had also managed to smuggle out cards with photographs and a much smaller amount of video.

The video Ms. Lee’s cameraman shot was recorded in high definition, although it was initially uploaded to YouTube in a low-resolution form in order to make it available to the public. This 15-minute edit of the material was also made available on Vimeo in a higher-quality version:

Jon Stewart on Everything that is wrong with America…in under four minutes……

Yesterday, the new Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure act went into effect—but not without controversy. And tonight on The Daily ShowJon Stewart brilliantly laid out both what’s wrong with American consumers and with credit card companies.

With his hilarious—and eerily accurate—rant, Stewart managed to do what many others have failed at: explaining how the country’s credit problem is exacerbated by the actions of those on both sides of the spectrum.

Stewart first explained that the problem with American consumers is that they not only desire a Champagne lifestyle on a Busch Light budget, but will take any opportunity to act on that appetite—even when painfully aware of the consequences of doing so. If you let them, they will spend, whether they have the money or not.

After his evisceration (sorry, had to) of consumers, Stewart took aim at the banks, hilariously describing the tricks they’ve used to historically bilk their customers out of as much extra money as possible, before even more hilariously highlighting some new tactics that were born from a theoretical leash imposed by the government with the newly-enforceable regulations on their business practices.

I’d say more, but the screen on my laptop is fading and I need to make sure I’m the first one to arrive at the Apple Store tomorrow to purchase a new one—just as long as my rate limit gets approved. Fingers crossed!
