Is Mike Huckabee NOT running in 2012???

Here’s a quote from him from during an interview on FOX News last Sunday……

“Jumping into the pool, you gotta make sure there is water in it.”

I wonder if the clemency thing had anything to do with that statement…or he’s just afraid of what Obama could do to him?

The figure will be 34,000 new troops for Afghanistan…..details are leaking out….

The total amount of troops ‘in country’ will reach 100,000……President Obama will have authorized more than half of the men and women sent there…this is his war now….

As I have said before here…..General Stanley McChrystal has got just about everything he asked for……and a good part of the Presidents political future is now in his hands….

The deployments start in January…although there are reports that Marine units are already on the move to the country…..

Secretary of State Clinton will go to Brussels on Thursday to press NATO for more troops for the war campaign in the country…..

The speech is tomorrow night at 8:00 PM coming from Army Military Academy at West Point, New York……

The couple will do the show after changing lawyers…and will do the show for free….They really do seem to want the publicity…..

Maurice Clemmons, wanted for the alleged shooting of four cops was granted clemenecy by Mike Huckabee….

Yep….The leader of the Republicans that could possibly run for the Presidency of the United States of America set this man free…..

It happened in Arkansas in 2000, by then Governor Mike Huckabee….at the time Clemmons had at least five felony charges on his record….

This from Huckabee….

…..[he] ‘issued a statement tonight calling the slaying of the police officers “a horrible and tragic event.”

If Clemmons is found responsible, “it will be the result of a series of failures in the criminal justice system in both Arkansas and Washington State,” Huckabee said.

He added that Clemmons’ release from prison had been reviewed and approved by the Arkansas parole board’.

The President, the Commander-in-Chief, has given his marching orders to the troops…..

President Obama held a classified briefing last night with his National Security team.…under National  Command Authority…he has issued his finding from his months long study of theater commander Gen. Stanley McChrsytal’s request for more assets for the Afghanistan war campaign……

The Commander-in-Chief has approved almost everything McChrystal has asked for and has taken counsel of his ambassador to that Afghanistan and also added and exit policy to the plan….

The president has begun making notifications to the NATO countries heads of state, with requests for more troops and assets from them…..

The President will fly to West Point tomorrow to give an evening speech to the country…..

He will experience headwinds from his fellow democrats….bButhis request will be approved by congress, since no president in modern times, has had such a request turned down……Make no mistake this campaign is now his…and do not doubt that the president’s success or failure is in the hands of one General Stanley McChrystal….

Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of this countries current Secretary of State and 42nd President is engaged to be married to her longtime boyfriend , investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, his folks served in the U.S. Congress……

The call for Friday was more shoppers, spending up marginally……

According to this Wall Street Journal piece…there was a heck of  a lot more shoppers out there…..But estimated sales where only up about $200,000 million on a National Retailers Federation estimate……I don’t know about you….But to me that’s good news..the number was up guys!

Note: On Friday I visited my local P.C. Richard’s Appliance store with my son…and let me tell you the place was jammed!..and a whole lot of flat screen TV’s where going out the doors!…..people are back..I don’t care what they say….and some of those TV’s….were not on sale!
