Tiger and Elin could be done……

Tiger Woods Divorce

The Dog caught the below piece and is actually sad…but happy…….while he has been all over the place with a lot of…lot of….women…it is obvious that he never really had a marriage…..

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are finalizing a divorce, according toEntertainment Tonight‘s Kevin Frazier. The former SportsCenter anchor says in a web video that “the marriage is indeed over.”

A source tells Frazier that one key sign is the fact that Nordegren (PHOTOS) was on a flight during Woods’ final round at the Masters. That she not only avoided the tournament, but went out of her way to be in the air during its closing stages, speaks volumes about the current state of their relationship, according to Frazier’s source……

Things might have been ok for show…..

But this was man with problems that his wife never knew…..and was incapable of handling…..

Tiger Woods should have never had this marriage ……

He is still recovering from his march through his youth to become a Big time Pro Golfer…..

No woman could be expected to deal with the volume of women and media attention Woods escapades encompassed……

Woods will pay her ……and she will leave with their kids….

And he’ll go on playing……

But at some point he’ll have to find out who he is …..

And reconcile with his demons…….

And don’t be surprised if Rachel Uchitel show’s back up…..

I just have this feeling…….

Woods comes off the layoff strong…..

Tiger Woods is happy to be a the 2010 Masters at Augusta, shooting a 68 and getting favorable applause from the galleries.

Horay for Tiger!…….

Now that he’s just spending his energy on his Golf game…..

Look at this!

He’s playing his best Golf ever in the first round of a Master’s Tournament….

And the guy looks alright……

Lets see if his wife shows her face to support him?

Back in his own heaven of verdant fairways and velvet greens, Woods played the first round of the Masters Thursday as if the last five months have been a dream.

It wasn’t just a good first step. The round of 68 was Woods’ best start ever in the Masters.

For the first time, Woods broke 70, the score he opened with in three of his four Masters victories. For the first time at Augusta National, Woods made two eagles in one round. For the first time since Thanksgiving, he was back inside the ropes.

“Actually, it felt normal,” he said. “I just went about my business.”

When one questioner asked what the day meant, looking for something deeper, Woods said, “It meant I’m two shots off the lead. That’s what it means. I’m here to play a golf tournament.”

He will start the second round tied for seventh place, trailing leader Fred Couples, his Monday practice partner, by two shots.

Nike features Tiger Woods…… and his Dad…… in a new ad campaign….

I really can’t wear Nike sneakers…..

They are made too narrow for my foot…..

But I really do give a damn…..

I do give props to the company for staying with Tiger through all of this garbage….

Tiger Woods is featured in a new ad for Nike that premiered on ESPN Wednesday. The sports brand is one of the few companies that stood by Tiger Woods after it was disclosed that the golfer had been playing putt-putt with pornstars, Pancake House servers, and half the cocktail waitresses on the West Coast during a devastating sex scandal last winter. In the stark, black-and-white ad, Woods looks directly into the camera without speaking while a recording of his late father (Earl Woods) is heard, speaking about taking responsibility.

Tiger Woods paired with Matt Kuchar and K.J. Choi for the first two rounds of the Masters………

Tiger Woods is scheduled to tee off at 1:42 p.m. Thursday as he returns to golf at the Masters.

Let the games begin!

He’s up to start the Masters today………

And he can get back to Golf and his family…..

The media can go find another story……..

Matt Kuchar and K.J. Choi drew the short straws Tuesday and were paired with Tiger Woods in the first two rounds of the Masters.

They will tee off at 1:42 p.m. Thursday in the next-to-last group of the day and on 10:35 a.m. Friday.

ESPN‘s coverage begins at 4 p.m. and will pick up Woods on the back nine Thursday. None of his shots Friday will be on live TV. They could have gotten the bad end of the draw Thursday. There is a 60% chance of rain beginning in the afternoon.

Masters pairings are selected by committee and are not random. Playing with Woods as he makes his return with so much attention can’t be an advantage. But at least it’s at Augusta National, where the players are more secluded during play.

“Of all tournaments, this is the one tournament where it’s not as bad,” Woods said at his Monday press conference. “The media is not allowed inside the ropes. You don’t have (it) like at the U.S. Open and British Open, (where) we have over a hundred people inside the ropes that are moving around.

Tiger's back at Golf …..and It's going to be alright……

[From left, Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk and Fred Couples skipped shots on a pond before the 16th green Monday at Augusta National. ]

He made his first fairly ‘normal’ appearance…..

As a introduction the Masters Course he’ll play ar sharply

And the crowds where happy to see him…..

During an 18-hole round that began just after 8 a.m. with former Masters champion Fred Couples and concluded with former U.S. Open champion Jim Furyk — who joined the group for the last five holes — Woods was received cordially, if not enthusiastically, fitting for any old Monday at Augusta National, with the first round of the Masters still three days away. Security guards walked with the group, and there was nothing approaching an ugly incident.

Fans clapped for Woods’s good shots, yelled encouragement — “You’re still the man, Tiger!” was followed by “Welcome back, Tiger!” — and filled an area around the 11th green and 12th tee as if it were Sunday’s final round.

“I expected it to be positive,” Furyk said. “It was probably even better.”

In some ways, though, the news conference was a more important element of the day. Since his single-car accident in the early hours of Nov. 27 jarred loose a torrent of information about his apparently serial infidelity, Woods had spoken publicly twice — once in February, when he addressed an international television audiencebut did not take questions, and again in March, when he granted a pair of five-minute television interviews. Because of Monday’s format — the content of questions wasn’t limited in any way — Woods addressed topics he hadn’t since the accident.

Tiger Woods is still a Dad…….

Tiger Woods if caught by a TMZ photographer as he picks up his daughter, Sam, from her daycare class Friday.

Yes that’s him….picking up his kid from DayCare…in an Escalade……

If you didn’t know any better, you’d say Tiger Woods looked like a family man.

The scandal-ravaged golfer emerged on Friday to pick up one of his cubs from daycare.

The photo of Woods with his daughter Sam, 2, near his home in IsleworthFla., is the first photo of the golfer with one of his children since the massive sex scandal broke late last year.

Woods arrived to pick up little Sam Woods from Premier Academy in the afternoon. He arrived in a black Cadillac Escalade – the same make and model he famously crashed outside his home in November when the scandal began.

It was unclear if it was the same car or simply a lookalike.

Us Magazine reported that Woods and wife Elin wrote an apology letter to the other parents at Premier Academy in February.

Nicklaus on Woods return to Golf…….

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Jack Nicklaus was not exactly shocked to hear that Tiger Woods has picked up his golf clubs and is chipping away the rust from a three-month layoff.

What would astonish the 18-time major championship winner is if Woods fails to show up at the Masters.

“It would surprise me if he didn’t,” Nicklaus said Wednesday. “Oh yeah, I can’t imagine in a hundred years he’s going to miss Augusta.”

Nicklaus, who played in the pro-am at the Honda Classic near his home in West Palm Beach, said golf is in Woods’ DNA and it would be hard to envision him skipping a chance to play in a major. Woods has never missed the Masters since he became eligible to play.

However, that was before his personal life became the stuff of supermarket tabloid fodder. Woods has been seen practicing at his hime course in Orlando, though the world No. 1 has not indicated when he will return to the PGA Tour.

Nicklaus had no real insight on that front. But his gut instinct as a competitor was telling him that Woods would play once before the Masters, then tee it up at the season’s first major in April.

“I don’t know, I’ve been very non-commital about everything because it’s none of my business,” the 70-year-old said. “ As it relates to him playing golf, my guess is as a golfer he’s going to want to try and play Augusta if he has his other things in order.”

Tiger Woods will meet with a small press group on Friday…….

FILE - This Nov. 10, 2009, file photo shows Tiger Woods during a news conference before the Australian Masters golf tournament at Kingston Heath Golf Club, in Melbourne, Australia. Tiger Woods will speak to the media Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, from the clubhouse at the TPC Sawgrass, headquarters of the PGA Tour in Florida, for the first time since revelations about his infidelity, his agent says. ( AP Photo/Andrew Brownbill, File)

The Golfing Pro will start his rehabilitation with his fans, himself and his fellow Golf Pro’s with a small get together, without questions  and under control of the Golfer and his handlers…..The press will be after him and the story ….you can be assured…..

This will part of his getting back on his feet after dealing with his life of infidelity with his wife, and whatever other demons he has had top live with in his life…..

The important things are…….. he’s trying to come back…he’s gonna play Golf …and his wife seems to be with him…. for now……

From a piece in the Washington Post……

“While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between he and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him,” Mark Steinberg said in an e-mail Wednesday. “He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends and that’s what he’s going to discuss.”

However, Steinberg said Woods will not take any questions from a small group of media. “This is not a press conference,” he said.

It will be Woods’ first public appearance since Nov. 27, when he crashed his SUV into a tree outside his Florida home. Woods’ only comments since then have been made through his Web site.

Woods is to speak at 11 a.m. Friday from the clubhouse at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., home of the PGA Tour.

There was strict control over the appearance, typical of Woods’ career.

Steinberg described the gathering as a “small group of friends, colleagues and close associates,” who will listen to Woods apologize as he talks about the past and what he plans to do next. He said three wire services have been invited – The Associated Press, Reuters and Bloomberg – and he asked the Golf Writers Association of America to recommend pool reporters.

Only one camera will be in the room to provide live coverage via satellite. Steinberg said other writers with proper credentials could watch from a hotel ballroom more than a mile away.

“The first time out, he’s better controlling it,” fellow player Padraig Harrington said from the Match Play Championship in Arizona. “Over time, there will be questions. At the moment, the best thing is a more controlled environment and gradually ease his way back into it.

A more critical and longer piece from CBS Sports….
